Coming off its most successful season in 12 years, Irmo High School begins Year Three under head coach Aaron Brand.
The Yellow Jackets look to build off last year's shared Region 5-4A title and third round Class 4A playoff appearance. They also look to replace offensive and defensive leaders quarterback Izayah Whiteside, wide receiver Dearee Rogers and safety Nick Emmanwori, who's now at the University of South Carolina.
Irmo also invites Ridge View into its region to compete along with A.C. Flora, Westwood, Lugoff-Elgin and Richland Northeast.
Irmo opens the season Aug. 26 at Lancaster.
