Plans are being made for a new hotel on a lot at 1072 and 1076 Chris Circle, in West Columbia.
The City of West Columbia has annexed 1.77 acres on property that was once the site of Millander’s Barbeque.
It’s behind the site of Starbuck’s and Salsarita’s, and where the new Happy China Buffet is being built. The Chris Circle site is for a proposed hotel. It is a frontage road for I-26.
The new zoning for the annexed property would be General Commercial, according to the West Columbia Planning Commission.
