Some of the homes in St Anns Alley are getting close to be completed. And there is a “SOLD” sign on at least one of the houses.

St Anns Alley is a community of 34 single-family homes in the burgeoning West Columbia River District. the new homes are being built in the area of Center, Spring, Herman and Augusta streets and takes its name from the St. Ann’s Rescue Mission, a home for boys, that was located in the same spot in the late 1800s.

The project is being built in an existing historic neighborhood.
The two or three bedroom homes have two-and-a-half baths and are up-to 1,600 sq.-ft. Each house will have its own yard and two parking spaces. Allison Ramsey Architects of Beaufort (www.allisonramseyarchitect.com) has designed four basic models with varying interior layouts and color schemes.

The homes are different colors, with 9-foot ceilings, and fiber cement siding exteriors.
