Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the victim of a motor vehicle collision that occurred in the 1000 block of Saint Matthews Road (SC 6) at approximately 06:35 pm on Sunday.
According to Coroner Fisher,  Myron W. Riley, 61, of Swansea, was pronounced dead at the scene.  Mr. Riley was traveling westbound when his vehicle left the right side of the road, went down an embankment, overturned, and collided with a home.  Riley was not wearing a seat belt when the incident occurred.  An autopsy was conducted on Monday to determine the cause of Riley’s death.  The results are currently pending.
