SC health officials Saturday reported 3 deaths and 165 new cases of corona virus.
Greenville County had the most with 38 cases. Lexington was next with 17 and Richland with 15.
This brings the number of South Carolinians who died to 119 and confirmed to 4,246.
Of those 3 deaths, 2 were elderly with health conditions from Horry County and a middle-aged individual from Aiken County.
As of April 18, DHEC has conducted 11,833 tests with 1,450 virus positive and 10,383 negative.
38,833 tests by DHEC and private labs have been conducted in the state.
DHEC is operating extended hours and testing specimens 7 days a week. The timeframe for results to health care providers is 24-48 hours.
As of this morning, 5,334 hospital beds are available and 6,017are being used, a 53% statewide hospital bed use rate.
