Lexington County Emergency crews responded to the scene, early Monday morning, of a commercial structure fire in the 1600 block of Two Notch Road, in Lexington, according to a County of Lexington report. It's the Prestige Composite building.

The 1600 block of Town Notch Rd at South Lake Drive was closed. A smoke column was moving toward Lexington. Possible that residents will see and smell smoke throughout the morning and into the afternoon.

The fire was reported by the Lexington Police Department as still being very active around 7 a.m. Emergency responders were moving around, so police advised motorists to seek an alternate route and be on the lookout for emergency personnel. At 7 a.m., there were no reported injuries.

The fire was contained by 9:30 a.m.
