The Columbia Metro Senior Bowl did not look far to find a replacement for Gilbert quarterback Jy Tolen.
In fact, his Indian teammate was selected to the West team Gilbert head coach Chad Leaphart will lead in the Dec. 20 contest at Brookland-Cayce High School.
Wide receiver Jamais Holloway added to the roster.  According to Leaphart on Thursday, Holloway will take up the athlete position while Noah Bell of Class 2A Lower State champion Saluda will replace Tolen at quarterback.
Holloway led Gilbert in receptions (57) to go with 670 receiving yards and 3 TDs this past season. He also rushed for 267 yards and 2 touchdowns and tallied 41 tackles and 2 interceptions on defense.
The West roster currently includes Markco Gilmore (Airport), Roger Pedroni (Chapin), Jon Hall, Jarvis McClurkin and Anthony Demasi (all of Dutch Fork), Tristan Allen (Lexington) and Ahmad Bynem-Scott (Lexington), Deonte Baker, Byran Mims, Demanti Jones and Malachi Brown (all of Brookland-Cayce), Shauntrel Hendrix, Darrius Dennis and Vernard Ramage (all of Batesburg-Leesville), Trenton Higgins, Wheslen McLeod (Gray Collegiate), A.J. Farchione, Tyson Trottier, Shaq Garvin and Lindan Colter (all of River Bluff), Jy Tolen, Matt Reed, Deandre Harris, DeAndre Crook and Drew Howell (all of Gilbert), Kenya Macon (Swansea), Shelton Bibbs and Jajuan Johnson (both of White Knoll), Niko Austin (Pelion) and Jabari Avery (Irmo).
Fellow Gilbert alumnus and Dreher High School head coach Treigh Sullivan will lead the East team.
Tolen was selected Wednesday to replace quarterback Mason Garcia on the South roster for the 2019 Touchstone Energy Cooperative All-Star Bowl on Dec. 14 at Doug Shaw Stadium in Myrtle Beach. Garcia was added to the South Carolina Shrine Bowl roster to replace injured Myrtle Beach quarterback Luke Doty.
