RAINED OUT - Bad weather postpones Blowfish's South Division matchup with Florence

Lexington County returns to action Monday

Posted

The Lexington County Blowfish will have to wait a couple of days before returning to action.

Saturday’s “Irish Heritage Night” contest against Florence was postponed as a resulf of wet conditions from Friday’s heavy rainfall and more bad weather expected in the afternoon. The 2 teams will make up the contest as part of a June 25 doubleheader at Lexington County Baseball Stadium.

It was suppose to begin a 3-game homestand for the Blowfish, who are 2-4 on the season. They return to action Monday at Lexington County Baseball Stadium against the Macon Bacon, who defeated them 12-0 in 8 innings Friday.
