The Southeastern Conference has released the full 2020 football schedule for the University of South Carolina.
Coming off a 4-8 season, the Gamecocks will play 6 of their 10 regular season games at home. They will open against Tennessee on Sept. 26 at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The contest marks a "Homecoming" for former Dutch Fork High School state champions sophomore defensive back Bryce Thompson and freshman wide receiver Jalin Hyatt. The last time Hyatt played at Williams-Brice Stadium, he caught 3 touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime of the Class 5A championship game against Dorman.
South Carolina will then play 3 of its next 4 games on the road before the 'bye' week. It returns to action at home Nov. 7 against Texas A&M, looking to snap a winless streak against the Aggies.
After back-to-back home games against Missouri and Georgia, the Gamecocks close out the season at Kentucky. They snapped a 5-game losing streak to the Wildcats last year in a 24-7 victory. The times and TV availability will be revealed at a later date.
