Happy to have jobs and good health.

Happy their loved ones are healthy, too.

Good News in Bad Times

We see people smiling everywhere.
They are happy at home with families.
Happy to have jobs and good health.
Happy their loved ones are healthy, too.
They chat with friends online.
Check on distant family by phone.
They celebrate being alive another day.
They are determined to get through this.

We are inspired by so much bravery.
Firefighters, law enforcement and EMTs 
are out there protecting us.
Saving lives. 
Watching for criminal activity.
Ensuring our safety.
SROs have come from closed schools 
to relieve over-worked fellow officers.
Health care workers staff hospitals, 
emergency rooms, doctor’s offices.
They do this at great risk to themselves.
They are not immune to the China virus.

The stock market has rebounded, 
Dow Jones hit 1,351 points yesterday.
That shows faith in our economy,
Amazon is hiring 100,000 workers.
Many are here in Lexington County.
Lexington Medical Center needs help.
Truckers and deliverers are in demand.
