Mooneyhan's Auto Service hosts groundbreaking ceremony, building 4 new bays

Mooneyhan's Auto Service hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Friday. Mooneyhan's is adding four new service bays to its facility at 1224 B Ave, West Columbia.

"West Columbia is the best place to be and do business," Mooneyhan said.

U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson attended the groundbreaking. He said it's good to see Mooneyhan's growing. Wilson was a supporter of Mooneyhan's when he first opened his business 40 years ago.

In addition to Wilson, several other dignitaries were on hand, including West Columbia Mayor Bobby Horton. West Columbia Mayor Pro Tem, Tem Miles, state Rep. Micah Caskey, West Columbia Police Chief Dennis Tyndall, Lexington County Councilman Glenn Conwell, and Lexington Two School Board Member Bud Summers.
