Lexington Bi-Lo employees have been assured their jobs are safe.
An independent Piggly Wiggly store owner intends to buy the Bi-Lo at 760 US-378.
New Piggly Wiggly store owner Charles Starbuck will buy the store this month with C&S Wholesale Grocers support,
Bi-Lo employees had been told last year that the store would close if a buyer coud not be found.
