We bought $176.3 million more from local farmers in 2018 than we did in 2010.
That's surprisingly goods news and it includes all food categories.
The State Farmers Market and other local markets across Lexington County account for much of those sales.
Recent University of South Carolina research shows that we buy tons of locally grown food.
