Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE) is offering local artists an opportunity to exhibit their work.
The CAE rotating exhibition begins in October and runs through January.
Art in the Airport will enhance travelers’ experience here.
Those interested in participating are asked to email Lynne Douglas at l.douglas@flycae.com by Sept. 4 with:
Name, address, phone, email, website (if applicable)
Artists must live in Lexington, Calhoun, Fairfield, Kershaw, Orangeburg, Richland, Saluda, Sumter, Lee, Clarendon, Newberry or Aiken counties.
The exhibition will be in the walkway between the security checkpoint and the departure/arrival gates.
Exhibits must contain a minimum of 12 pieces for the 12 wall columns in the walkway.
CAE will provide labels for each piece to include the artist’s name, contact information, title of the piece, dimensions, type of medium and selling price.
CAE will also provide signage for the exhibit to include the artist’s bio and/or statement.

Staff escort is required to access the location.
Artists selected will be notified by Sept. 11.
CAE does not charge artists to exhibit their work nor take commission on pieces sold.
Artwork sales will be conducted directly between the artist and the buyer.
