Real layered banana pudding

Posted

If you’re a fellow Southerner, you probably cut your teeth on ‘nana pudding but you probably never tasted the layered ones I like to make.
2 pkgs instant vanilla
   pudding mix & milk
1 box of vanilla wafers
4 bananas
Whipped cream or pre-made whipped topping
Follow package directions to make pudding. Place layer of wafers in deep dish or pan. Spoon a layer of pudding on wafers.  Add sliced bananas for 3rd layer. Add more wafers on top of bananas for 4th layer.
Put layer of pudding and whipped cream or pre-made whipped topping for 5th and 6th layers. Add more banana slices for 7th layer and crush handsful of wafers and sprinkle crumbs on top.
Chill about 4 hours and tell anybody who even thinks about going into the refrigerator that they will be in big trouble.
