What's up with Apple, Google play?

Have you heard of Apple Pay and Google Pay?
Do you use them?
These digital wallet and non-contact payment technologies were designed for convenience and security. This will answer some of your questions about both.
How do they work? First, you use the Apple Pay or Google Pay app to link a credit or debit card to your account. Apple Pay is unique to Apple devices but the Google Pay app can be used on iOS or Android.
After your information is in the app you can use your phone or compatible smart watch to make payments. You’ll make payments using the Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna in your device.
For NFC to work, your device has to be near the terminal for the payment to process. Apple and Google Pay also work on websites and apps which accept them.
Like Paypal, Apple and Google Pay keep your private information secure.
Can you use them anywhere? Unfortunately, no. Businesses choose which credit cards and non-contact payment tech to accept. Not all point of sale terminals and credit card processors can use them. Look for Apple Pay and Google Pay logos at local stores, restaurants, and on apps.
As a business owner, do you want to begin accepting Apple and Google Pay?
Learn about accepting Google Pay here: https://pay.google.com/about/business/partners/ . Learn more about accepting Apple Pay here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204274 .
Then check with your point of sale vendor to see if your equipment can accept these payment types.
