Lexington 2 will restrict public access to its schools, offices and other facilities starting at 10 am Thursday, March 19.
Lexington 2 Superintendent William B. James Jr. plans to retire at the end of the 2020-21 school year.
James was hired as the district’s superintendent in 2015.
Lexington 2 will serve free breakfast and lunch to any child in need while schools are closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
