This is the perfect appetizer for a Christmas or New Year party! You can double this recipe! You can place on parchment paper and make this into a wreath or a Christmas tree and can cover in minced parsley as well! Make a snowman for the New Year, too. Spruce it up however you’d like. You can take this mouth watering, ole-timey appetizer to any event. Don’t forget to add them pecans from Glenville, GA!

COLORFUL CHEESE BALL

2 pkg.    (8-oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 cups    (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp.    chopped pimiento
1 Tbsp.    chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp.    minced onion
2 tsp.    Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp.    lemon juice
        Dash of salt
        Red pepper to taste
        Chopped pecans
Combine all ingredients except pecans; mix well. Chill at least 1 hour. Shape into a ball and coat with pecans. Yield: 1 cheese ball.
