Can your blood save you from covid-19?

Do you know your blood type?
If not, you may want to find out.
Recent studies suggest those with type-A blood face a 50% higher chance of contracting covid-19.
People with type-O, appear to have 50% less risk.
This comes from a research performed in Germany.
In the study, researchers state that each blood type and your genetics affect how you produce proteins.
Antibody testing shows proteins produced and how they counteract a specific antigen.
Antigens are foreign substances - like the covid-19 virus - which induce an immune response in the body.
Covid-19 antibody testing is available only after 14 days of having covid.
This testing  determines if you are still infected with the virus by seeing if any antibodies are still present.
But the tests can give false positives.
Some people already produce a positive ANA test due to an autoimmune disease.
Does this mean they would show positive for covid-19?
The World Health Organization on July 13 announced those who have had covid-19 can contract the virus again.
This is disappointing news. Scientists had previously speculated recovered patients still carrying the virus could have potential immunity.
A study in the UK found antibodies from the virus peaked for 3 weeks before gradually disappearing.
