Do you have a child or grandchild who’s out of school? The South Carolina State Library wants to help.
The library is giving students, parents, and educators access to online tutoring, homework help and test prep until June 30.
What is offered?
Tutor.com is an online resource center by the Princeton Review, which has 20 years of experience. It is meant to connect students and their families with tutors and career coaches. The site offers more than 80 subjects and test preparation areas. The K-12 Learning Suite includes live, one-to-one tutoring as well as a real-time writing center and practice quizzes. There are also numerous worksheets, tutorials and videos.
If you’re a South Carolina resident you can access the online service. Use any computer or mobile device with internet access. The offering is available through Discus - South Carolina’s Virtual Library. Tutoring is available 8 am-10 pm, 7 days a week. You’ll create a free Discus account to access Tutor.com resources. The worksheets, tutorials and other resources are available 24/7.
