When God takes a hand

Pastor Danny Kyzer turned a bible study into a church.
He is the pastor of the new Calvary Chapel Church of Leesville which officially opens July 14.
8 years ago, Danny started a bible study for his neighbors in his garage.
It outgrew the garage, and 2 ½ years ago they moved to the Lake Murray Community Center.
The growth led to the decision to start a church, and a search led to a 4,000-square-foot building at the Saluda traffic circle on US 378.
Renovations started immediately as did the search for floor coverings, paint, seats and everything else they needed. That is when Divine provisions started flowing in.
Pastor Kyzer found 208 stadium seats in Georgia for $2.50 each.
80 went into the worship center, the rest into the fellowship hall and Sunday school classrooms.
They found the exact amount of floor covering needed cheap on Facebook.
Although he had asked nobody for money, $5,000 showed up in the mail.
As soon as the church sign went up, men from the neighborhood showed up to help with whatever was needed. A woman volunteered to serve as a youth worker.
A praise band showed up one evening.
Other divine provisions are too many to mention here.
They continue to hold Monday night bible study until the first worship service on Sunday, July 14.
My favorite part of the interview was a quote from Pastor Kyzer:
“No matter what you are going through, just add Jesus.”
