Airport High Halloween tradition draws over 1,000

Airport High got into the Halloween spirit Wednesday, as more than 1,000 visitors from the community turned out to trick or treat at the school’s annual Trick-or-Treat Lane.

Volunteers including students, teachers, parents and others were on hand to decorate -- with inflatables, balloons, and more -- as well as help run activities. A kids’ carnival, face painting, games and more were offered.

Teacher and student activities director Daniel Bailey said the favorite annual tradition creates a safe way for community families to trick or treat and have some Halloween fun.
