State health officials report Lexington County had the 4th highest rise in virus cases.

Only Greenville County with 14, Richland County with 15 and Berkeley with 16 new cases were higher.

10 new virus cases in county

Richland County reports 15 more

State health officials report Lexington County had the 4th highest rise in virus cases.

Only Greenville County with 14, Richland County with 15 and Berkeley with 16 new cases were higher.

The Department of Health & Environmental Control reported 113 new SC cases including two more deaths.

DHEC reported 3,319 infections and 82 deaths in the state, 2 of them in Lexington County.

Due to privacy laws, DHEC is not releasing any names.

The 2 new deaths were in  Charleston and Greenville counties.

Other new cases by county are Allendale (1), Anderson (4), Beaufort (3), Charleston (8), Chester (1), Colleton (1), Darlington (2), Dillion (2), Dorchester (4), Florence (6), Hampton (1), Horry (2), 

Kershaw (1), Lancaster (3), Laurens (1), Lee (2), Marion (1), Marlboro (1), Oconee (1), Spartanburg (4), Sumter (2), York (7).

DHEC has conducted 10,335 covid-19 tests.  1,225 tests proved positive and 9,110 were negative. 

5,898 hospital beds are available and 5,715 are being used,  a 50.8% occupancy rate.
