25 new county cases, 62 Richland County cases

State heath officials today reported 43 more covid-19 deaths in SC.

None of them were in Lexington or Richland counties.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control today announced:

-  718 new confirmed cases and 6 new probable cases.

Of the 43 new deaths reported, only 4 occured yestereday,

The other 39 occured over the last 8 days.

- Total confirmed cases were 100,431, probable cases 728, confirmed deaths 1,966 and 83 probable deaths.

- As of yesterday, 849,117 tests have been conducted in the state.

- 5,610 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday statewide not including antibody tests).

- Of those tests, 12.8%.tested positive as infected.

That means 87.2% tested negative as uninfected.

- As of this morning, 2,467 inpatient beds are available and 7,958 are in use/

- Of the 7,958 inpatient beds currently used, 1,353 are occupied by covid-19 patients.

- Of 1,539 ventilators, 487 are in use and 217 of those are covid-19 patients.

- Of the 1,059 ICU beds currently being used, 360 are occupied by covid-19 patients.
