4 more Lexington County deaths reported

42 new county cases, 70 in Richland County

 SC health officials reported today 22 more confirmed covid-19 deaths.

4 Lexington County deaths occurred as far back as last Wednesday.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control today announced:

- 810 new confirmed cases and 56 new probable cases.

Lexington County reported 42 new cases.

Columbia and Richland County reported 40 new cases.

Confirmed cases to date are 156,655, probable cases 6,559, confirmed deaths3,427 and 210 probable deaths.

As of yesterday, 1,741,936 tests have been conducted in the state.

- 7,069 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday statewide.

Of those results, the percent tested positive as infected was 11.4%.

That means 88.6% tested negative as uninfected.
