One person is dead and three others injured in a 4-vehicle crash near the State Farmer's Market Wednesday afternoon.
The person died after a car went airborn and landed on top of another, said the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened Wednesday around 1:45 pm.
The driver of a 2019 Dodge Charger was traveling southbound on Hwy 321 when it struck the back of a 1999 Honda van.
After impact, the Dodge Charger crossed the median and hit a 2019 Honda CRV SUV that was going northbound on Hwy 321 head on.
As a result of that impact, the Honda SUV went airborne and landed on top of a Suburban that was traveling northbound, SCHP said.
The driver of the 2019 Honda SUV died on the scene.
The driver of the Dodge was transported to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
The 1999 Honda van's driver was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The Suburban's driver was transported to a hospital with injuries.
All were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
The SCHP and MAIT (Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team) team are investigating.
