State health officials today announced 5 more covid-19 deaths occurred yesterday.

1 was in Richland County but none in Lexington County.

5 SC covid-19 deaths, none in Lexington County

29 new county cases, 106 in Richland County

State health officials today announced 5 more covid-19 deaths occurred yesterday.

1 was in Richland County but none in Lexington County.

DHEC today also announced:

- 45 more confirmed deaths and one new probable death dating from May 17.

These are cumulative death figures due to late reporting.

Only 5 of the 45 deaths occurred Tuesday..

-  712 new confirmed cases and 19 new probable cases.

- Total confirmed cases are 102,143, probable cases 831, confirmed deaths 2,057 and 87 probable deaths.

- As of yesterday, 857,773 tests have been conducted in the state.

- 3,627 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday statewide not including antibody tests.

- 19.6% tesred positive as infected.

That means 20.4% tested negative as uninfected.
