Lexington County had no covid-19 deaths yesterday but 1 Tuesday and another Wednesday.
Both dates were reported late to the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
DHEC today announced:
- 1,015 new confirmed cases and 20 new probable cases.
- 16 additional confirmed deaths and 3 new probable deaths.
Of the 19 deaths, only 6 occurred Thursday.
The others went back as far as last Saturday.
DHEC has no control over late reporting.
- Total confirmed cases to date are 103,880, probable cases 961, confirmed deaths 2,106, and 98 probable deaths.

- As of yesterday, 912,936 tests have been conducted in the state.
- 6,763 individual test results were reported to DHEC yesterday but not including antibody tests.
- 15.0% tested positive as infected.
That means 85% tested negative as uninfected.
