7 Lexington County covid deaths reported

78.4% tested negative as uninfected

 74 confirmed SC covid-19 deaths and 7 probable deaths were reported Saturday.

This was based on 2 days of reporting.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control did not report deaths or cases on Christmas Day Friday.

6 confirmed and 1 probable elderly Lexington County deaths were repored.

2 elderly and 1 middle aged Richland County deaths were reported.

Lexington County had 192 new cases and Richland County 213.

Greenville County continued to report the highest numbers with 319 new cases.

Spartanburg was 2nd highest with 217 new cases.
