State health officials announced today:

- 7 more deaths in the state Monday.

34 new Lexington County cases

Lexington County passed another day wthout a covid-19 death.

State health officials announced today:

- 7 more deaths in the state Monday.

- 42 other deaths reported to DHEC occurred earlier in the month and 1 occurred June 9.

Delays in reporting may lead some to think 49 people died Monday.

- 928 new confirmed cases and 16 new probable cases.

- 34 new Lexington County cases.

- 97 new Richland County cases 

- Total confirmed cases were 101,360, probable cases 770, confirmed deaths 2,012, and 86 probable deaths.

- As of yesterday, 853,899 tests have been conducted in the state.

- 4,648 individual test results were  reported to DHEC yesterday statewide not including antibody tests.

- Of those, 20% tested positive for the virus.

That means 80% tested negastive as uninfected.

Of sC hospoital bed and ventilator use:

  • Inpatient beds: 2,423 available; 8,089 in use; 76.97% utilization rate.
  • 1,330 inpatient beds occupied by covid-19 patients.
  • ICU beds: 359 available; 1,098 in use; 75.36% utilization rate; 339 ICU beds occupied by covid-19 patients.
  • Ventilators: 1,044 available; 524 in use; 207 by COVID-19 patients (confirmed or suspected)
