You can buy and shoot fireworks in Lexington County if you are age 16 or older.
Illegal fireworks include ground salutes, cherry bombs, M-80s, TNT and bulldog salutes or small bottle rockets less than ½ inch in diameter and 3 inches long.
In Cayce, fireworks are allowed from 10 am-10 pm on July 4.
In Chapin, they are allowed until 11 pm.
In Irmo, they are allowed  7 pm - midnight on July 4.
In Lexington, they are allowed every day until 9 pm and until midnight on July 4.
In West Columbia, they are allowed 9 am -11 pm on July 4.
