Police seek thieves of an ATV in Cayce Sept. 15.
The Bureau of Protective Services and Midlands Crimestoppers are requesting assistance from the public to provide any information that may assist with identifying the suspect(s) involved in stealing a green ATV and a Kubota RTV500 tractor.
The items were stolen from the Surplus Center located at 1441 Boston Ave in Cayce between the early evening hours of Sept. 15 and the early morning hours of Sept. 16.
Video surveillance from Fulmer Middle School captured what appears to be a dark in color 2002-2006 GMC Yukon Denali with black rims hauling a small trailer.
The vehicle travels up Greenwood Dr. around 8:40 pm with an empty trailer and back down the same road around 8:50 pm with the ATV on the trailer. There were several people exiting the middle school parking lot during the same time that may remember seeing this vehicle pulling the trailer and ATV. Video surveillance has not yet been obtained showing the theft.
Anyone with information about this crime and the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact the Bureau of Protective Services, Investigator Hess at 803-237-4483 or submit a tip to Midlands Crimestoppers to remain anonymous and be considered for a cash reward.
