Lexington County had 6 confirmed deaths reported Sunday.

That was the highest number of deaths in the state.

1 was middle aged, the 5 others elderly patients.

Greenville County reports 805 new cases

Lexington County had 6 confirmed deaths reported Sunday.

That was the highest number of deaths in the state.

1 was middle aged, the 5 others elderly patients.

SC health officials reported 28 confirmed deaths and 3 probable deaths Sunday.

Richland County lost 4 elderly patients.

The state had 4.044 new cases.

Lexington County had 179 new cases and Richland County 281.

Greenville County had the most again - 805 new cases.

York County had 736 new cases and Spartanburg 321.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control did not report covid-19 data on New Year’s Day.
