1 elderly Lexington County death occurred Dec. 12.

Another elderly Richland County death occurred Dec. 9.

4 more confirmed SC covid deaths and 1 probable death were reported Tuesday.

1 elderly Lexington County death occurred Dec. 12.

Another elderly Richland County death occurred Dec. 9.

Lexington County had 138 new cases, Richland County 110.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced:

  • Tests performed for South Carolinians:  3,153,581

Percent positive (scdhec.gov/COVID19dashboard)

  • 11,589 new individual test results reported statewide (not including antibody tests)
  • 19.9% tested positive as infected.
  •  That means 80.1% tested negative as uninfected.
