District 1 Board meeting Tuesday
The Lexington County School District One Board of Trustees will hold a budget public hearing Tuesday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of Building One of Central Services located at 100 Tarrar Springs Road in Lexington.
The will hold a third reading of the 2018–2019 General Fund Budget. The board will also hold its regular monthly meeting immediately after the public hearing.
The board meets in Executive Session at 6 p.m. to discuss and/or receive legal advice concerning any pending lawsuits, employment recommendations for 2018–2019, a contractual matter related to secure entrances at GMS, LMES, MES, PES and WKMS, a contractual matter related to fencing at GHS, GMS, PES, RCES and WKHS, and a contractual matter related to concrete sidewalks and slabs at GHS, SGES, WKES and WKHS. Executive Session takes place in the Boardroom.
The public is invited to attend the general session at 7:30 p.m.
