Does Dad have it too bad?

Just in time for Father's Day, a research study has bad news.
If you are a father in our state, take a bow.
You are bearing up despite poor work-life balance, economic and health conditions and limited child care,
The study by personal finance researchers at WalletHub.com ranks SC fathers' lives behind those of fellow dads in Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama and Arkansas.
We are ahead of those in Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Nevada and New Mexico.
According to WalletHub, our state is among the 6 worst states for fathers.
Who is best?
According to WalletHub, the best are Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Jersey, Minnesota and – get this – our nation's capital, the District of Columbia.
WalletHub apparently did not take into account violent crime, long winters, snow and ice or punishing taxes.
Why, you might ask, are so many fathers in those states moving their families to South Carolina?
