A Columbia woman died on Interstate 20 last Thursday when a tree fell on her vehicle.
Pamela Adams Powell, 49, was traveling on I-20 Westbound Feb. 13 in slow traffic when a tree fell on her car, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.
Powell was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later due to her injuries.
