Lexington Medical Center and state health officials are providing free covid-19 testing at Brookland Baptist Church.

The tests will be at the church at 1066 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, Tuesday, June 16, 10 am to 3 pm.

At the request of Sen. Nikki Setzler and Rev. Dr. Charles B. Jackson Sr., the free testing is open to those who live in the Cayce-West Columbia area.

You don't need to have symptoms. No appointments are necessary.

Clinicians June will administer the drive-thru tests. You do not need to get out of your car.

A clinician will place a special cotton swap in both sides of your nose and rotate it for about 15 seconds.

The SC Department of Health and Environmental Control is providing the test kits.

For other questions about testing, please go to www.scdhec.gov or call 803-898-3432.
