A veteran S.C. National Guard commander from West Columbia has been nationally honored.
Col. Ronald Taylor, the SCNG chief of staff, has been inducted into the OCS (Officer Candidate School) Hall of Fame.
Induction of military officers into the OCS Hall of Fame is an honor dating back to 1958.
Individuals inducted have distinguished themselves in their military or civilian life in a noteworthy way since graduating from OCS.
