The SC Department of Commerce will expand online resources to help businesses impacted by forced closings.

A detailed listing of non-essential businesses can be found on a Resources page at https://www.sccommerce.com/ .

Gov. Henry McMaster’s executive order closed all non-essential businesses, venues, facilities, services and activities.

For example, Colonial Life Arena has been closed, forcing schools with large senior classes to look elsewhere for a graduation site.

Graduation ceremonies may have to be held online or with limited participation at outdoor arenas.

Businesses needing clarification must complete a “Clarification of Business Designation Form” at https://www.sccommerce.com/ .

A covid-19 response team will respond to business inquiries within 24 hours.
