Irmo Police Chief Courtney Dennis on Monday announced that Quavian Bing, 31, of Irmo has been arrested on burglary charges. Investigators were able determine through evidence collected that Bing allegedly broke into the Silver Fox Grill in the 7400 Block of Broad River Road on Oct. 25. On Oct. 29, Bing allegedly broke into the Burger King and the SevenEleven convenience store in the 7700 Block of Broad River Road. During all these burglaries, Bing allegedly stole cash registers and an undisclosed amount of cash.
On Sunday, Irmo Police along with the assistance of the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division were able to locate Bing in a Hotel on Columbiana Drive where he was taken into custody without incident.
Bing is currently booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center where a bond hearing has been scheduled. He has been charged with 3 counts burglary, 2nd degree [Violent] which is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than 15 years upon conviction.
