Lexington County bridge over I-26 will close Mar. 18
A bridge over 1-26 in Lexington County will soon be closed for repairs.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation will replace the US 21 bridge over I-26 mile marker 129.
The bridge will be closed starting Monday, Mar. 18. Motorists will use detours installed prior to the bridge closure.
The bridge is expected re-open May 28, 2019.
Nighttime lane closures on I-26 East and Westbound are expected during the demolition process of the existing bridge deck.
