Lexington deputies and police to take back unwanted prescription drugs Saturday

The Lexington Police Department and Lexington County Sheriff's Department will be taking back unused prescription drugs Saturday.
The National Drug Take Back Day events in the Town of Lexington will be from 10 am to 2 pm at:
• CVS Pharmacy - 5608 Sunset Blvd./US-378
• Walgreens - 5220 Sunset Blvd./US-378
The Lexington Police Department will have marked tents set up in the parking lots of both locations and those interested in dropping off discarded prescription drugs can bring them there to officers who will be working these events.
Sheriff's deputies will be taking back prescription drugs with drive-thru service at the same time at their headquarters at 521 Gibson Road in Lexington.
