Lexington Police Department's annual Toys for Tots “Fill the MRAP” campaign is underway.

Through Dec. 16, the police department will collect toys at scheduled events around Lexington.

The goal is to fill the Lexington Police Department Emergency Services Team MRAP vehicle with toys.

Unless needed elsewhere, the E.S.T. MRAP vehicle will be at each planned donation event listed in this news release.  

Donation events are planned for:

• Nov. 21: Bountiful Harvest @ TOL Municipal Complex, 11 am – 8 pm
• Nov: 25: Learning Express, 2 pm – 6 pm
• Nov. 26: Learning Express, 2 pm – 6 pm
• Dec. 2: Walmart, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 3: Target, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 4: Kmart, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 5: Target, 11 am – 4 pm
• Dec. 5: Christmas Craft Fair @ Icehouse Amphitheater, 4 pm – 8 pm
• Dec. 6: Kmart, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 9: Walmart, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 10: Target, 2 pm – 7 pm
• Dec. 11: Mellow Mushroom, 4 pm – 10 pm
• Dec. 12: Walmart, 2 pm – 7 pm

Toys for Tots donations will be accepted at the Lexington Police Department during business  hours through Dec. 16. The Lexington Police Department  at is located at 111 Maiden Lane in Lexington.
