Lexington voters stick with incumbents

The county’s largest municipality re-elected Mayor Steve MacDougall over challenger  and council member Ron Williams, 3,878 votes to 3,137.
Three incumbents and 1 former council member were seeking 3 council seats.
Mayor Pro Tem Hazel Livingston, and council members Kathy Maness and Todd Lyle all held on to their seats with 4,678 votes, 4,485 votes and 4,038 votes respectively.
Former council member Todd Shevchik, publisher of Lexington Life magazine, lost  with 3,377 votes.
