In response to the CVD-19 emergency, Midlands Technical College has began online student instruction.

Instructors are teaching by the Zoom app and the D2L Brightspace online learning platform. Other plans are being developed for courses demanding hands-on instruction or specific equipment.

"Some professors had 100% attendance in their classes," said MTC President Ron Rhames.
"While we are still tweaking a few small things, we will continue with alternative instruction for the rest of the spring term."

Registration is open for the upcoming summer and fall semesters.
Applications can be completed 100% online.
Advisors, tutors, and counselors are also using telephones and web chat to assist students.
