Motorcyclist dies in collision on Boiling Springs Road

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher Friday identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision in the 500 block of Boiling Springs Road at approximately 4:50 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Marvin L. Drawdy, 59, of Lexington, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fisher. Drawdy, who was not wearing a helmet, collided with the rear of a van that had slowed to make a turn. The driver of the van was not injured.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
