Motorcyclist killed on I-20, driver of Mustang charged with DUI

A motorcyclist was killed on Inerstate 20 in Lexington County, according to the state Highway Patrol.
It happened shortly after 12:30 am near mile marker 39.
Officials say a driver on a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling west when it was struck in the rear by a Ford Mustang.
The driver of the Mustang, 28-year-old Deangelo Cunningham, has been charged with felony DUI and leaving the scene of a collision involving death.
 According to Lexington County Coroner Marget Fisher, Jeremy Shane Smith, 49, of Aiken was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith, who was wearing a helmet, was traveling westbound on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when he was struck from behind. 
The incident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
