New Batesburg-Leesville Town Council member elected

Susan Whittle has been elected to the Batesburg-Leesville Town Council.
Whittle garnered 52.94% of votes in the Dec. 11 special election against Emily Long.
This was the second special election held for B-L District 6. Neither candidate won a majority vote in the Dec. 4 special election.
Of the 786 registered voters in District 6, 85 turned up at the polls.
