Ok to swim again

Yesterday's swimming advisory has been lifted.

The Midlands Rivers Coalition's water quality samples showed elevated bacteria levels for the section of the Lower Saluda and Congaree Rivers from the upper landing at Saluda Shoals Park in Lexington County to the Rosewood Drive Landing (the Jordan Memorial Boat Ramp) in Richland County.

Follow-up water quality samples collected Aug. 22 met the state standard for swimming.
